Why are urban people less prepared for The Zombie Apocalypse?
1) The lack of community. To survive a disaster requires some form of teamwork and cooperation. Many urban residents do not know their neighbors; this makes teamwork impossible. 2) Typically stronger gun control laws in urban areas than in the more rural settings. Urban areas have lots of gun free zones and make gun ownership very difficult. 3) Very little land to attempt to grow crops as opposed to the more rural settings. 4) Over reliance on government. Government controls the means of transportation. Most urban residents have no form of private transportation. This makes it hard to escape. In the more rural areas, more access to alternative form of transportation. An example would be horses. Leave a Reply. |
