After Miller's exciting "vacation" in Hong Kong, he is contacted by his mysterious benefactor from Hong Kong, Mr, Chen. Mr. Chen informs him that shortly he will be meeting with an agent of the US Government. He is met by an Andrew Stuart, who is an agent for Office of Archive Retrieval (OAR) who explains the case to Miller. If you like secret societies, conspiracies, mystery, and powerful artifacts, you will love the second book in "The Rixey Files: The Quest for The Chalice of Power." I am hoping to have it done in six to nine months. Stay tuned for more details.
Changed the title on The Rixey Files Volume 2. It's now called "The Quest for Chalice of Power." I was having too many problems thinking of what cool things I could have a book do. Just making a wild guess, it will have some special powers that man is better off not having.
In the beginning of Book 2, The Quest for the Codex of Doom, we find Miller boarding a North Korean ship that is in Hong Kong's harbor to recover "The Hen's Egg for a client who had been robbed of it. It's a priceless Fabergé Egg.
This is my newest series. It is a Detective/Suspense/ Conspiracy genre. It follows the exploits of Miller Rixey, a detective who as the new head of The Bishop Agency, only takes the toughest and most dangerous cases. He will go anywhere he needs to to solve a case. You have to stay alert when you read this series as while the series is fiction, I do like to use non-fiction as part of the plot line. What's reality and what is fantasy? That's for the reader to decide. I am hoping for a 3-6 month window on publishing the first book of the series: The Rixey Files: The Quest for Caesar's Medallion."
